It all begins with an idea. The Doula Community Baby Shower was an event to help promote Doula’s in our local area. The STL metropolitan area and how we can be apart of the birth teams as well as spread the word of what doulas are. We also had guest speakers and many local black owned businesses that all contribute to improving the Black maternal and infant mortality crisis. (life insurance agents, bakers, massage therapist, vaginal steam therapist and more. Guest speakers included breast feeding mom Brandi Leonard, VBAC success talk with Tiffany Ann Hill, OB/GYN Adriena Beatty and more.
